In the Name of Thy Father

এই বই সম্পর্কে

In the Name of Thy Father gathers one hundred poems written in response to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s centennial. A conversation between a father and daughter connects the collection, while imagined voices and shifts in time open different ways of considering memory and legacy. The poems move between historical reference and fictional possibility, inviting reflection on the relationship between a public figure and later generations. Written by Md. Fakrul Islam Chowdhury, with a foreword by Kamal Chowdhury, this 192-page English volume was first published by UPL in 2021.
